Kingswood South is a NSW state government public school nestled within the Penrith Valley in the shadows of the Blue Mountains. The school is well appointed, fully air-conditioned with spacious grounds for student activity.

Our school caters for students from preschool through to Year 6. We have a student population of approximately 340. The school has a strong commitment to student achievement in an environment where students and community support the values of: Be Safe, Be a Learner & Be Respectful.

Our school is structured in Stages of development:

• Preschool
• Early Stage 1 (Kindergarten)
• Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2)
• Stage 2 (Years 3 and 4)
• Stage 3 (Years 5 and 6)

We also have a support class for pre-school age children with learning disabilities (Early Intervention Class).

In addition the school is the base for:

• a Vision Support Team,
• a Hearing Support Team &
• a District Guidance Officer.

The critical education basics of literacy, numeracy and ICT are a focus for the school. The school offers a wide range of extension activities to enrich student learning. We recognise that engaging students with their learning and integrating Information & Communication Technology are essential ingredients for a quality education in the 21st century.
